G. E. Eads

Funeral Services for G. E. Eads who died January 17, 1941 at his home on Lake Creek were conducted at the New Liberty Church with Rev. W. W. Handy in charge of the services. Interment was in New Liberty Cemetery.
Mr. Eads who was 69 years old had been in ill health for several months and had been in a St. Louis hospital. He was one of the well known citizens of the Lake Creek district. He was appreciated as a neighbor and friend always ready to do the people of his community a service when the opportunity affoded. His passing will be mourned by those who knew him, and sympathy is extended to the surviving companion, Mrs. Martha Eads and other members of the family.
Seven children are surviving: James Eads, Greenville; Lee Eads, Ray Eads, Mrs. Dollie Chiles, Lake Creek; Roy Eads, Qulin; Mrs. Ollie Meador and Mrs. Bessie Burns of St. Louis.
